Ohio University alum David Armstrong ’02,’11M won 2013 Emergency Press International Book Contest for his manuscript drive/memory.
Armstrong earned an M.A. in Creative Writing and Fiction from the College of Arts & Sciences and a B.A., majoring in English and Film Tutorial, from the Honors Tutorial College.
“This is David’s second book prize since moving on to the UNLV Ph.D. program,” notes Professor Dinty W. Moore, Director of the Creative Writing Program. Last year his story collection, Going Anywhere, won the Leapfrog Press Fiction Contest and will be published in fall of 2014.
