Zachary L. Saunders ’08, an Ohio University alum who earned a Political Science degree from the College of Arts & Sciences, has joined the Athens law firm of Mollica Gall Sloan & Sillery Co. LPA, reports the Athens Messenger on Oct. 17.
Zachary concentrates his practice primarily in criminal defense, domestic relations, and custody matters. His criminal defense practice consists of misdemeanor practice, as well as out-of-county felony work.
A native of Licking County, Zachary graduated from Ohio University in 2008 with a degree in political science while concentrating in pre-law studies. After graduating from OU, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.
While in law school, he worked for the Eaton County Prosecutor’s Office in the Economic Crimes Unit. He also interned for a federal judge in the Southern District of Ohio. Zachary graduated from law school magna cum laude in 2011, and was admitted to practice in Ohio that same year. He joined Mollica Gall Sloan & Sillery in 2013, after practicing criminal defense and juvenile law in Licking and Fairfield Counties.
