Come celebrate fall at the Art + Poetry + Prose the Fifth, on Friday, Oct. 11, on the third floor at Building 19 of The Ridges. This event is an ongoing collaborative effort between the graduate students of creative writing and fine arts.
The art show begins at 6 p.m., when the MFAs in Fine Arts will show their work and be available for discussion. From 7 to 8 p.m., there will be a reading featuring writers from the Creative Writing program. (Notice the end time). Then we all hang out and it’s fun, say hosts Kelly Kathleen Ferguson (English Department) and Joey Behrens (Art Department).
Reading will be: Kirk Wisland (nonfiction), Katie Berta (poetry), Jennifer Pullen (fiction), Kelly Sundberg (nonfiction), Claire Eder (poetry), and Madeline Ffitch (fiction).
