Plant Biology Colloquia: Applied Ethnobotany in Pakiston, Sept. 27

Dr. Zabta Shinwari

Dr. Zabta Shinwari, from Quaid-i-Azam University in Pakistan, will give an Environmental and Plant Biology colloquia lecture on “Molecular Systematics and Applied Ethnobotony in Pakistan” on Friday, Sept. 27, at 11:50 a.m. in Porter 104.

Shinwari, who is collaborating with Dr. Allan Showalter on “DNA Barcoding Medicinal Plants from Pakistan,” is visiting the College of Arts & Sciences from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1.
