Scott Klusendorf
“Is Truth True? What Makes Human Beings Valuable?” Scott Klusendorf, of the Life Training Institute, will deliver a lecture Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 8 p.m. in Walter 145. A Q&A session follows at 9 p.m.
Klusendorf’s lecture seeks to address some of the following questions: “Can one make a statement of absolute truth or morality without imposing an arbitrary belief? Does the absence of consensus mean an absence of truth? Are humans valuable because of some status they acquire during their lifetime?”
Klusendorf also will explore how some of the prevailing cultural assumptions that often guide answers to these kinds of questions affect one’s stance regarding the issue of abortion.
