The Center for Law, Justice & Culture invites applications for the Certificate in Law, Justice & Culture. All undergraduate majors are invited to apply.
The certificate program brings together interdisciplinary coursework from Anthropology, Criminology, History, Interdisciplinary Arts, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, and other departments to provide students with intellectual training in a “law and society” perspective.

Sept. 30, Application Deadline for Spring Break Study Abroad
The application for Spring Break Study Abroad: Human Rights, Law & Justice in Northern Ireland (ANTH 4620) is September 30. There will be an information session September 23. Please contact program director Dr. Haley Duschinski for more information.
Oct. 9, Pre-Law Panel
Deans of Admission from the law schools at University of Cincinnati and Michigan State University will offer helpful information for students considering applying to law school. The event will be held in Walter 145 from 4 to 4:45 p.m.
Oct. 18, Pre-Law Day
Ohio University is offering a full day of panel discussions and speakers to foster a better understanding of careers in the legal profession and the place of law in our society. The day’s events are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. Pre-Law Day activities are organized by Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
Oct. 25, Application Deadline for Law, Justice, & Culture Certificate Program
Students are invited to apply for the Certificate Program in Law, Justice & Culture online through Oct. 25.
