The Daily Press featured Ohio University alum Emily Wylam ’08, who majored in Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences, in its Star Track series on July 5:
Emily Wylam, a Grafton High graduate, has spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the swimming and diving program at Case Western Reserve University, an academically prestigious school in Cleveland, Ohio.
In 2011-12, she helped the Spartans’ men finish 11-1 in dual meets, climb as high as No. 12 in the NCAA Division III poll and equal the best finish in program history at third in the University Athletic Association championships. She was part of the UAA Men’s Coaching Staff of the Year in her first two seasons with Case. In the fall of 2012, the Case women were ranked 16h in Division III.
As well as coaching swimming, Wylam also is an assistant strength and conditioning coach in Case’s athletic department.
