Ohio University Alum Denise McCory, Dean of Students at Cuyahoga Community College’s Metropolitan Campus, has been named to the ACE Ohio Women’s Network Executive Board, the Cleveland Jewish News reported on June 21.
McCory has worked at Tri-C for more than 12 years in positions including assistant dean of students, student success coordinator and director of the NASA science, engineering, mathematics and aerospace academy. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ohio University in Athens and a master’s degree in adult learning and development from Cleveland State University. She is pursuing a doctorate in higher education leadership from Walden Library.
“I am honored to serve the community in this capacity and I pan to use this opportunity to create mentoring, networking and development opportunities for other female professionals,” McCory said in the news release.
