The annual “Taste of Classics” event, sponsored by Eta Sigma Phi, Gamma of Ohio, takes place Monday, April 22, 2013 at 5 p.m. in Ellis 113.
In addition to various delectable dishes, a delectable little play will be performed (in English and Latin) by Phillip Cooke’s first-year Latin students and the members of ΗΣΦ. The play: Auricula Meretricula (“Auricula the Littlest Prostitute”). Is it genuine Plautus? No. Is it genuinely Plautine? Is it ever.
